This past weekend was truly a dream come true. After graduating with a degree in Apparel Merchandising, a degree in Fashion Design, several years in the retail industry, I’ve seen so much about fashion week and run way shows, but I never imagined I would be going, let alone for my actual job. This NYFW I flew in with Stephanie (Urban Blonde) and right away we met up with Morgan (Fashion Friesx). Right away it was an instant friendship and we’ve known each other for years.
More to come this week on some of the shows we attended, places we went, recommendations and so much more, but today I’m sharing one of my favorite looks of the weekend. This purple jumper is from ASOS and it’s only $26. The best thing about NYFW week is you really can wear whatever you want and it doesn’t have to be expensive. The color is perfect for fall, and it has the prettiest ruffle detail. I paired it with my favorite Givenchy necklace and some off-white peep-toe pumps.
