A day at the pumpkin patch was just what we needed! Jason’s been working a lot lately and we haven’t had a lot of time all together. It was a perfect fall day and I actually got a bit hot in this dress since the sun was out the entire day, but it is so comfortable that I didn’t care!

We went to a local – ish pumpkin patch where they have hayrides, trains, games, bounce houses, and of course pumpkin picking. I look forward to this every year because the weather is so nice in the fall and its fun picking out your own pumpkins to carve out later for Halloween.

Blaire clearly dressed herself today but I have to say I’m a happy camper when she decides to dress appropriately for the weather. For the past LITERALLY two years she has worn nothing but a dress. Even through the winter it would have to be a dress, and that meant no pants because princesses don’t wear pants. But by some miracle the last couple weeks pants have become cool, so go ahead girl, knock yourself out with this look.

It took us forever to get them out of the actual patch. This little adorable boy is Blaire’s ‘boyfriend’ and they love spending time together. It’s a good thing they’re both cute!

I’m hoping to go back one more time this season. There’s another farm we love that has an amazing corn maze that lasts for miles and you literally get lost it in. I feel like fall comes and goes to quickly so we’re soaking up every day! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! If you live in Virginia I’d love to know where your favorite pumpkin patches are or your favorite fall activities! xoxo
