Maintaining a Healthy Blonde with Redken’s All Soft LineThank you Hair Cuttery & Redken for Sponsoring this Post!
As you all know by now, I’m not a natural blonde. While I was born with dark brown hair, I have had lighter locks for almost 10 years straight. That’s A LOT of torture on my hair, and I often struggle with keeping it bright & healthy.
I used to have extremely oily hair when it was brunette, and would have to wash my hair every single day or it just felt like a grease ball. After being blonde for awhile, my hair is a lot more dry, and I actually try to go as many days without washing it as I can to help maintain moisture. I know lots of girls that can go 4+ days, maybe even a week without washing their hair. I pretty much max out around day 3, but when I do wash it after a few days of dry shampoo in between, it makes a pretty huge difference!
Although I’ve probably switched shampoos a thousand times, since none of them really provide the hydration they promise, I am amazed at how soft and moisturized my hair feels after using Redken’s All Soft Line. For the past few weeks, I’ve been using the All Soft Shampoo, followed by the All Soft Mega Mask. Since I only wash my hair every few days, I reaching for the Mega Mask as my go to to totally revive my hair. I sweat it makes it shinier and baby soft. You have to leave it on for 3-5 min, so I usually step out of the water to soap up and shave, and the timing works out perfectly.
About once a week I have been using the All Soft Heavy Cream as a deep conditioner. I will get my hair wet first, put the cream in root to end, and then about 15-20 min later take my shower. It feels so healthy after this that I don’t typically blow dry it or put any heat to it at all, and just let it air dry to it’s natural style. If you do need to dry your hair, which we all do most of the time, I highly recommend the new Cura Luxe from T3! You can adjust the temperature controls, and my hair dries almost just as quickly on the lower heat setting.
